"I love living in Hillel because it is so central to the Jewish student life here in Birmingham. Hillel has so many social areas for everyone to relax and unwind together, and facilities to help such as the piano or board game collection. It is also great to have my own kitchen!"

Orli Ruback (Hillel Resident 2023/24)

"Living at Hillel House has given me a chance to spend time with other Jews when coming back from university. This accommodation has made making friends a lot easier than otherwise and due to many events happening here at Hillel, I have always felt a sense of community. I love spending time in the living room, singing to the piano or watching television or sports in my spare time. I would recommend if you want to live with other Jews that Hillel House is the place to be."

Ilan Har Even (Hillel Resident 2023/24)

"I have really enjoyed spending my first year in Hillel. I have no regrets choosing Hillel over my university accommodation. I have been able to get to know people who I would call my friends that come from similar backgrounds from me. The warm environment and Jewish atmosphere is something I don’t think you can get in any other student accommodation especially as a first year! Definitely recommend if you want to be in a Jewish environment."

Leah Preston (Hillel Resident 2023/4)
